After he finally got through the crowd, I jumped into his arms and just squeezed him! We took a taxi to catch our shuttle to head to Monteverde. It’s really common to take a shuttle with other tourists here, but Ross and I ended up having the shuttle all to ourselves.
Jugo warned us that the last hour or so of the trip would be pretty rocky. He was right! It reminded me of when my Dad was here and when we traveled on some really rough roads. Despite the horrible road, the scenery was absolutely stunning. Ross and I were admiring the breath-taking views as we got closer to our destination!
We got to our cute little hostel and received tons of information on all the different activities we could do: canopy (zip-lining), cloud forest tours, hanging bridges tour, coffee tours, volcano tours, night tour, reptile house, horseback riding, ATV tours, butterfly conservatories, and much, much more! There were SO many choices, but we finally picked a jungle tour with 7 different hanging bridges, a canopy tour with several cables, and night tour through the jungle. (This website gives the full description of the canopy tour.) http://www.monteverdeadventure.com/canopytour.html
